Your guide to self-directed IBS Recovery
from Wendy Leung, R.Ac. – IBS Elimination Specialist
Hi, amazing IBS conqueror!
I'm happy you took the action step of applying an IBS Breakthrough Session – it shows your dedication to finding a solution so you can finally fully recover from your IBS!

Mentorship is critical for a swift and efficient IBS recovery, but I know that even if you're motivated, you may not have the financial means to join the Conquer IBS program and work with me directly.

Knowing how daunting it was for me to tackle my Irritable Bowel Syndrome alone, I created a set of recommendations to help you on your self-guided path to recovery so your next steps are much clearer.

First, it's very important that you understand one thing: It is absolutely possible for you to recover from IBS on your own. Remember that I recovered successfully on my own too, simply because there wasn't any support available to me then. Your self-directed recovery will take time, focus and patience – but if I did it, so can you.

With that in mind, here are my recommendations for your self-guided path to IBS recovery:
1. Join my IBS Symptom Deep Dive Challenge
The first – and most critical – step for full IBS recovery is: understanding your personal IBS story, symptoms and triggers.

Everyone's IBS is different, so it's important that you understand your own situation in as much detail as possible in order to figure out what your personal recovery steps need to be.

Taken directly from my Conquer IBS program, I designed this 14-day course to walk you through how to track and what to look for with your IBS- and non-IBS-symptoms, teaching you everything I help my clients look for when starting their recovery.

By going through this course you'll become aware of patterns you may not have noticed before, and those patterns will point the way to your next steps. You'll learn:
  • What you've been missing by tracking your symptoms on your own
  • How to set up your tracker so it works best for YOU
  • How to ask the right questions to find the right answers
  • How your IBS is really affecting your body and mind
  • Which symptoms are related to your IBS and which aren't
  • And by the end of the challenge you'll know what to do next in order to keep getting better and better.
Join the Symptom Deep Dive now to get clear on your personal next steps to becoming IBS-free (an incredible value of only $57)!
2. Watch the YouTube episode: IBS Symptoms Treatment
In this episode I share the outline of my Conquer IBS program, which will give you an idea of the steps you'll also need to complete in order to get better. Remember to take notes!
3. Download my IBS Digestion Tracker
Watch the YouTube video called IBS Food Diary and download my IBS Digestion Tracker at the end of it. I highly recommend you do this after you finish the IBS Symptom Deep Dive, so you already have that initial understanding about your personal health story from the Deep Dive.
4. Choose a series of YouTube videos and take lots of notes
Once you've completed the IBS Symptom Deep Dive, you'll know what areas you need to focus your attention on in order to get better.

Start with What is IBS and What Causes It? to get a good understanding of how IBS works in TCM, and then continue into more specific topics.

If you've discovered that your triggers are more emotion-related, choose the playlist "IBS and mental health" and then watch "IBS Breathing"

If it's food-related, watch the playlist called "IBS Food" and then theres a bunch of other ones scattered around in other playlists as well.

And if it's mindset watch "IBS mindset" and then watch my interview with colleague Louisa Havers to help you move through some mindset challenges that might be keeping you stuck.
5. Implement the tips and start making changes to your lifestyle and diet as needed.
Remember not to try to do everything all at once! In the Conquer IBS program I walk my clients through a step-by-step system to make sure that they don't get overwhemed with too many things, so you'll want to make sure that you do the same thing for yourself.
6. Join my Facebook community: Powerfully Conquering IBS
I drop into to answer questions once in a while, so join the community, stay active and keep me updated on your progress!
Remember, IBS is not a chronic condition: with patience and time you can recover naturally, holistically, and on your own (with a little bit of help from my channel and resources)!
P.S. If you've read this far, I know you're serious about getting better so I want to offer you additional guidance. Sometimes even when think you don't have the funds to invest in your health, you can find it by being resourceful and seeking help from outside sources.

If you're really committed to your IBS recovery success and are willing to do whatever it takes to get better, consider looking into these financial resources to see if you can find the investment to join the Conquer IBS program:

– Paypal Credit US and PayPal Credit UK offer 0% interest loans for six months
– 0% interest credit cards
– personal loans from family members or friends who care about your health and wellbeing.

Understand that in order to enrol you'd need to be in a position to invest at least $500 monthly. If you can find the means, get in touch again and we'll talk about enrolling you.
Let's look back on 2020 as the year you finally put your IBS behind you.
